Our hands-on ‘Energy Effective Lighting’ workshops are packed full of interesting discussion and applicational information. Our personalised approach will ensure that the information we give you is fully understood as group sizes are limited. During the workshop we discuss commonly found scenarios that electricians need to know by explaining project examples which enable you to apply energy effective solutions appropriately to any lighting installation. Courses are usually 1 day or 3 days (depending on your requirements) and aim to provide you with the tools that will assist you in finding the solutions you need as a lighting professional.

The workshops provide the opportunity for you to develop your understanding of lighting and act as part of your ‘continuous professional development’ (CPD), thereby furthering your development as a professional, widening your business possibilities – increasing your potential earnings.

Distance Learning

Enrol on our correspondence course (coming soon) and  you will gain the knowledge of lighting principles and how to apply them using a holistic criteria, the skills to evaluate lighting products, design lighting schemes and make informed decisions when involved with the specification for any lighting application.

This course offers people who are working the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification directly related to the activities of their job and enables study to fit around work.

On completion you will recieve a qualification recognised by the Society of Light and Lighting (SLL)*, and the CPD Institute.

*The SLL recognise this course as the equivelent to a single LIF Advanced Certificate. This course will therfore contirbute towards further education at Higher Education (MSc) level.
