My experience over the last 35 years has enabled me to provide lighting solutions for many sectors of industry, commerce, national and local government, by following a well defined criteria and considering all the aspects of the lighting requirements has achieved considerable successes in providing appropriate lighting schemes.
The criteria follows a design, energy, maintenance and controls pattern, therefore the criteria combined with considerable experience and knowledge of the lighting industry assures that the client receives unbiased designed and technically sound advice.
I have provided detailed lighting schemes for many sectors and in some ways too many to list, but they include Banking, Retail, Education, NHS, Sports, Local and National Government, Industrial and Airports sectors.
As a level 4 senior design solutions consultant to the Carbon Trust I have provided many technical publications for the Trusts devolved regions. I also provide for the Trust, ‘hands on’ lighting workshops for CPD training events for their other consultants of the Trust and provide workshops for different commercial and public sectors in the UK and Sustainable Energy Authority Ireland in Ireland.
I have developed, with my colleague Kristina Allison, a distance learning lighting educational course to enable others to benefit from our experience and expertise.
All lighting schemes should be energy efficient and effective, not as can occur be either ‘energy efficient’ or ‘effective’ and disregard one or the other. By using our holistic approach, this we refer to as ‘Energy Effective’ lighting, enables the appropriate solution to be achieved ‘first time’.
