About Us

We are a UK-based consultancy that specializes in effective energy efficient lighting solutions.

We believe energy efficient lighting is fundamental to a healthier, sustainable world.  But we know energy efficient lighting needs to be effective too – after all, if it doesn’t deliver the same or better lighting solutions for you, then you will probably take a rather dim view of it (excuse the pun!).

As a practice, we combine the very best energy efficient lighting in the market together with 35 years of leading technical lighting expertise to give our clients the most effective energy efficient lighting solutions possible.

We call this “Energy Effective” lighting.

Our goal is to help everyone in the lighting supply chain (manufacturers, architects, electrical contractor, energy manager, facility manager and end user) understand the benefits of Energy Effective lighting.

Since we formally established as Lighting Enterprises Consultancy & Associates in 1984 we’ve worked with some of the world’s biggest companies like Coca-Cola and most iconic buildings such as the British Houses of Parliament and over the last few years have been the leading lighting consultants for The Carbon Trust.

Being an independent consultancy, we will always give you the right advice for your situation.

We offer specialist consultancy services in: lighting design solutions, on-site lighting surveys, detailed reporting, support with technical specifications (incl. DiaLux, ReLux, etc), and product guidance.

We work across a range of sectors, including Retail, Hospitality, Hospitals, Factories, Warehouses, Offices, International airports, Libraries, Schools, Sports & Leisure, External, and Government institutions.

Along with our consultancy services we also run training programs and workshops for a range of industries and professions, helping to give our clients a detailed understanding of Energy Effective lighting.
